Impulsive Intuition
My personal art consists of focusing on using my artistic impulses and following through with them in an intuitive manner. I primarily use automatic drawing, a form of drawing where you exert your will through your utensil without any thought of what to draw or of what comes next.

My strength in my personal art is my depiction of feeling and motion through my own venue of the abstract. I have influences from Cubism and Italian Futurism.

Exhibition Statement:
This exhibition is about my own personal journey of self expression and acceptance. Therefore I have made my artwork without consideration of rules, but with the limitations of materials. My work consists of just using ballpoint pens and colored and graphite pencils. I am also a creatively impulsive person. The combination of impulsivity, material choice, and no rules have created what you see before you.
In my work I add movement to space, form, and surface by having my pen/pencil strokes and forms flow into one another. The lines are descriptive of the energy that is caused by my thoughts and feelings while making my work. My images are based on the internal experiences that I have while making them. My work is concerned with depicting a sense of change; my active and physical process and indication of movement creates the spatial reality around the forms. While I try to not limit myself to any rules while making art, I still wanted to be able to depict form to give the viewer a new experience when perceiving the object again.
More Background
The first image of the google drive folder was the main piece of the work, also entitled "Impulsive Intuiton." It is on a 18 ft wide by 4 ft long roll of paper that. It took 5 months to make.

There are also drawings of 18 x 24 inches long piece of paper that take on average about 2-3 weeks to complete.

I then have regular sketchbook drawings which are 9 x 12 inches. They can take anywhere from a day to a week to make

Here are a few of my favorite drawings in better quality pictures:
